About
Nehal al Ghandour is The Parlor’s Creative Director and a Gaza City–based graphic designer. A graduate of the UNRWA Vocational Training Center in Graphic Design, she has partnered with teams in Gaza, Dubai, and across Europe. Known for her disciplined eye for color, typography, and image composition, Nehal shaped The Parlor’s clean, expressive visual identity from launch.
Passionate about human rights—and about amplifying the dignity and visibility of Palestinian women and girls—she believes design should serve truth, accessibility, and community. When she’s off the clock, Nehal recharges by sketching layout studies, exploring color palettes, and collecting references from everyday signage and print ephemera—habits that keep her craft grounded and generous.
Due to the ongoing war, Nehal and her family have been repeatedly displaced and face limited access to electricity and internet. To support them directly, The Parlor offers selected shop items with 100% of proceeds going to Nehal and her family.
